2011;

Hello.

It's January, 2012.
Seems like just yesterday I was a Form 3 student, waiting to take my major exams, and tomorrow, I'll be a Form 4 student, experiencing everything new. New friends, new environment and all.
I shall start reminiscing every moment I enjoyed in 2011. Honestly, I enjoyed every single thing that happened in 2011.
This year, I admit I have been more dedicated to Interact than I was the year before 2011. I don't know what gave me the drive to be more dedicated to Interact, but I know I certainly did not regret making that choice. I have met new people, new friends, and learnt something new. I bothered to try to make it to all the events, although sometimes it clashes with others and I really had to think hard on which to choose. I enjoyed every single bit of all the Interact events, the I.Us, the Installations, the camps, and also ICC Concert. Although it has only been one year since I was dedicated, (I joined since I was Form 2) I love Interact, it's part of my life.

Friends, they come and go. Only the true ones stay. It's true. I have friends that I once used to tell everything to, and now we barely talk. As time goes by, in a blink of an eye, everything can change. You just have to be observant enough to notice it. I definitely did not regret meeting anyone in 2011. We may only be acquaintances, but it's still good to have you guys in my life. I realized sometimes it's not the close friends we really need, it's the ones that aren't close to you, but still care for you that we also need. What's the point of having close friends who doesn't even ask about you right?

I have to say my results have been getting better each year. I'm quite satisfied with my termly test. Although I was really disappointed when my trials results came. I know I could have done better, but I didn't. As for my major exam, I can say I'm quite happy about it, even if my parents aren't. I expected more, but maybe I didn't deserve it. And I'm okay about that. I still got in to Science stream like I've always wanted.

...
I spent my new year's eve really well. I spent it with the ones I love and started off 2012 also with them. It isn't my first time celebrating New Year's in the Curve, I knew what was going to happen and all. But it was still fun. All the foam sprays sticking to my hair that when I went back to bathe I could feel my whole body sticky. Ew. The fireworks were great, it was long, colourful and beautiful. I really enjoyed myself.

Cheers to 2012, to start something new, to start doing things you never thought you would, to start taking chances, to be a better person. We only live once, and life's a phase, so don't be afraid to take risks, take a chance on everything.

With much love and to start the new year,
